Bill Rotts

Attorney at Law

38 Years of Legal Practice and Trial Experience

Bill Rotts was born in 1952 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He graduated from Missouri Western University in 1970 with degrees in Economics and Business Management. After a 5-year interlude as an instructor/guide in Outward Bound adaptive programs, he then continued his education and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1982 and was selected as the Smith N. Crowe scholar in International Law.

Bill is licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and in the United States Federal District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. He has been accepted by the Eastern and Western Missouri Courts of Appeal, the Missouri Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He is experienced within administrative tribunals in both Missouri and out of state. He has participated and supervised litigation in most of the United States and many international tribunals (both judicial and administrative). He has devoted his life and a 38-year legal career to helping victims used and abused by government agencies, insurance companies, and large corporations.

Outside of the office, Bill is a bicyclist, motorcyclist, and outdoorsman. He manages his farm for environmental sustainability. He supports alternative energy development, water, land and air quality protection, and sustainable community agriculture. He now principally focuses his practice on matters of environmental concern where the victims are the general public, private individuals or groups.

As before though, now and for the future, always a victim’s advocate.
